What we collect
- Details you type into an enquiry or booking form: your name, phone number, email address, travel dates, number of guests, room or package of interest and any message you write.
- Basic technical information your browser sends (device type, pages viewed) if and when website analytics are switched on. Analytics are disabled unless a measurement ID is configured.
We do not ask for identity documents, payment card numbers or any sensitive personal data through this website.
Why we use it
Only to answer your enquiry, check availability, confirm a stay and follow up about that booking. If you contact us on WhatsApp or by phone, that conversation is used for the same purpose.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are saved in a secure, access-controlled database used by our front desk team. Only resort staff who handle reservations can read them.
We do not sell your data
We never sell, rent or trade your details. We share them only where it is needed to serve you — for example a travel desk arranging a jeep safari you asked for — or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept only as long as they are useful for your booking and our own records — normally 24 months after your last stay or enquiry, after which they are deleted. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act you may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@grandvalleymunnar.com with the phone number or email you used and we will action it. You can withdraw consent for us to contact you at any time.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising cookies. If analytics are enabled, they place a simple measurement cookie that tells us how many people visited a page — never who you are.
